in this one day workshop we will explore the elements of painting will oils with study on color, texture and composition. In the morning we will work on small canvases on types of skies, trees, hills and horizon lines, oceans, lakes ponds and streams and the reflections on water. In the afternoon, you will combine what you have learned to create a landscape using your choice of elements. We use water mixable oil paints so there are no smells or solvents involved.

Canvases and supplies included. Bring a snack to share and we will order lunch in during a brief 30 minute break. Coffee and water provided.
